There should be some movement within the Top 10 GKs in the game, although the number one will likely remain Jan Oblak.
Ratings reveal dates
Cast your mind back to the FIFA 21 ratings reveal and you’ll remember something called the Ratings Collective. Well, it looks like the ‘collective’ is coming back for another season.
We are still not entirely sure what the Ratings Collective means or does, but it sounds fancy.
Anyway, FIFAUTeam has given us a heads up of what to expect, and when we can expect it!
Ratings Reveal Dates
- Top 100/1000 – Thursday, 9 September
- Top Goalkeepers – Thursday, 9 September
- Fastest Players – Tuesday, 14 September
- Strongest Players – Tuesday, 14 September
- Top Passers – Tuesday, 14 September
- Top Free Kick Takers – Tuesday, 14 September
We will have to wait and see if these dates prove to be true, but fingers crossed!
Jan Oblak (OVR 91)
Jan Oblak will be the best goalkeeper in FIFA 22. We can’t see his ratings changing though, but 91 OVR is already pretty good!
Manuel Neuer (OVR 90)
Another stellar season for Manuel Neuer could see his ratings leap back into the 90s.
The latest squad update has him up there, but will it stay for the start of the season?
Marc-Andre Ter Stegen (OVR 90)
Despite Barcelona’s on and off-field struggles, German keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has retained his 90 OVR throughout the FIFA 21 cycle.
His rating looks set to remain and will keep him in the game’s top three stoppers.
Alisson (OVR 89)
A difficult season for Alisson as he lost the protection of Liverpool’s main centre back pairing in Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez.
Alisson still remains one of the best GK’s in the world, so we think he will be rated 89 OVR in FIFA 22.
Thibaut Courtois (OVR 89)
The giant goalkeeper will once again be one of the best in the game.
Consecutive seasons keeping 21 clean sheets for Real show his worth, but he hasn’t been outstanding enough to claim the best keeper in the game outright.
Keylor Navas (OVR 89)
There will be competition for the number one spot in the French capital this season after the arrival of Gianluigi Donnarumma.
However, Keylor Navas has been in excellent form hence his +2 over the course of the season and his rating now sits at 89 OVR.
Ederson (OVR 88)
Last season’s Golden Glove winner, Ederson’s rating could increase in FIFA 22.
Already rated at 88 OVR, the Brazilian is one of the best GKs on the game and his distribution is second to none. We think he will keep his 88 OVR in FIFA 22, but you never know!
Samir Handanovic (OVR 88)
Captain, leader, and now title winner; Samir Handanovic. The 6’4″ goalkeeper has featured over 300 times for Inter since signing in 2012 but was yet to win an honour with the club.
That changed last season when the Slovenian kept 15 clean sheets, but at the age of 36, it’s fair to say Handanovic won’t be as sharp in the future. For now, we feel the goalkeeper’s rating will remain at 88 overall.
Hugo Lloris (OVR 87)
Another steady season for France’s number one, we don’t expect to see any change in rating here.
12 clean sheets in the Prem isn’t to be sniffed at, so once again Lloris looks to be amongst the best goalies in the game.
Wojciech Szczesny (OVR 86)
A fourth-place finish is simply not what is expected in Turin, so many of Piemonte Calcio’s stars could be under threat.
Polish ‘keeper Wojciech Szczesny could be one of them, having had somewhat of a shaky campaign. So, we think that Szczesny will be 86 OVR in FIFA 22.
